ATTENTION ALL RIDERS!

The EPIC ride is scheduled for October 7, 8 and 9. We'll start on Saturday from Monterey and ride down the coastline on Highway 1 to San Simeon (100 miles). Sunday we'll continue from San Simeon and ride to Lompoc (100 miles). We'll grab some dinner at El Toro Bronco Mexican restaurant in Lompoc and ride home in the vans from there.

This ride is an SC Velo tradition and is fully SAG supported. Don't let the distance intimidate you if you're a first timer! If you get tired, hop on one of the vans. You can ride as little or as much as you want. Don't miss it. Here are the details:

Cost: Yet to be determined. Expect $100 for members and $130 for nonmembers. We will work on hotel reservations and other details and will determine the final cost based on the number of people that confirm.

Departure: The official departure time is Friday, October 7 at 12 noon from the San Dimas Incycle. Bicycles will be transported by trailer so you'll need to bring a quilt or blanket for your bike. Write your name on your quilt or blanket so you can identify it later. There may be one late van that will depart about 3pm for those that can't make the regularly scheduled time.

Motels: Rooms will have two king or queen size beds. We will bunk 4 to a room unless other arrangements are made.

Meals: SC Velo will provide lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast and dinner will be on your own.

For those that are interested in driving/providing one of the vans, please let me or Demi know. Drivers do not have to pay for accommodations and will receive a $25 per diem per day for meals.
